Rashtrapati Bhavan Delhi

Rashtrapati Bhavan is known for its impressive architecture and as the official residence of the President of India, apart from the most iconic buildings in India. This building came into existence when the country's capital was shifted from Kolkata to Delhi.

The structure was constructed to accommodate the British Viceroy and thus the building represents a classical blend of royal Mughal architecture and elegant as well as European architecture.

Apart from being inspired by the Stupa of Sanchi, this building has a beautiful dome which is constructed from red sandstone. The specialty of this place is that the row of its domes can also be seen from far away.

The Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan is a beautiful piece of art which is very beautifully decorated with colorful stones and beautiful colors. On the other hand, the Ashokan Hall of the campus is completely built in Persian style, with colorful ceilings and woodwork on the floor.

The beautiful terraces, windows, canopy, present in this place, give a feeling of a different kind of aesthetic that can fascinate anyone. This place is a very unique example of art. The Presidential Estate includes a drawing room, a dining room, a banquet hall, a tennis court, a polo ground and a cricket ground, and a museum which are other attractions of the place.

The entire structure of the complex consists of 340 rooms and the complex is a four-storey building. Steel has not been used anywhere in the construction of this entire complex, which is a distinct feature of this place.

Another feature of the temple located at Rashtrapati Bhavan that distinguishes it from any other temple is that the temple built here uses bells of Buddhist Jainism in addition to Hinduism which represents different cultures.

Another attraction of the Mughal Gardens complex present here is a unique blend of Mughal and British style. Which is spread over an area of 13 acres and includes some exotic varieties of flowers.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is a very good place for the tourist who is truly a unique example of architecture.
